From Talk to Action: Our Projects
This Is How Projects Come About
Three guys from Arrenberg are sitting around drinking beer. The first one says, “I have an idea,” and explains what they could do. The second one says, “Great idea—that makes you the one in charge!” and appoints him project leader. The third one chimes in: “Great idea—how can I help?”
This is roughly how (admittedly, in a way that isn’t gender-neutral) initiatives in Arrenberg tend to get off the ground. Every project needs leadership, but it also needs volunteers. Sometimes the idea falls through and remains a fun experiment. Other times, however, it turns into a long-term endeavor with many people committed to it.
